Gaffr Gameweek 9 Review/ Gameweek 10 team selection

Gameweek 9 review

Gameweek 9 went fine picking up 75 points; I missed out on points as my Ipswich bias got the better of me once again, with the costly captaining of Chaplin over the better and more sensible option of Clarke.

Hladky and Davis both did well, especially Hladky who was incredible. Sara and Dewsbury-Hall doing what they do best once again went huge with 10 and 11 pointers.

Adam Armstrong was back to his best against Leeds with a monster 14 pointer. Summerville on fraud watch again, Potts has been an awful transfer.

Team selection

I’ll hold my hands up and admit I’ve made a big mistake. I activated the home advantage chip not realising next week is a much better time to use it.

If I somehow get more points on my home advantage this week than at the weekend, it will be a minor miracle. Plymouth’s fixtures in the next few are unreal, so banking on big returns there.

Leeds at home to QPR, Sunderland at home to Watford, Ipswich at home to Hull are all very tasty fixtures and could be big bankers.

I captained Chaplin in the end – I’m not taking the game that seriously so I’ll likely captain him every week!

Transfers

Both transfers were big mistakes this week!

Slater > Azaz

Slater had been annoying me as he kept doing well for me on the bench so I got rid! Plymouth’s fixtures in the next few are nice, so I took a little punt on Azaz to try and attack the home advantage.

His data has been good, so hopefully he can come up with a little something.

Kakay > Huggins

The most panic-driven transfer of all time: I realised I didn’t have all 11 players on home advantage, so I got Huggins in for a bit until Cirkin is back. I don’t know either, a clean sheet please?
